Courtney lives by rule #17: don't take yourself too seriously. A consultant, speaker, and professor of innovation in business, Courtney designs and leads programs that help clients discover breakthrough, innovative solutions. Since joining Play in 1997, she has worked with clients as diverse as Capital One, GE, General Mills, JPMorganChase, Hanesbrands Inc, Mattel, NBC Universal, and American Airlines.

Before joining Play, Courtney worked with TEAM UNLIMITED producing adventure-sporting events for ESPN and ESPN2. Courtney received her BA in History from the University of Virginia, while competing on its cross-country and track teams. She has been a visiting professor at Darden, The MacIntire School of Business, University of Richmond, and The Kaos Pilot School in Denmark.
